The program runs from the first Sunday after Labor day until the
Memorial Day weekend. Watch our bulletin on line for details.
Liturgy for Little Ones is the celebration of the Liturgy of the Word, which has been adapted to make it relevant to the lives and experiences of young children.
Liturgy for Little Ones is designed so children can sing songs, hear a simplified version of the Gospel, and then discuss and share their understanding of the word of God. Additional activities are developed to help reinforce the Gospel message.
During the 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Sunday Liturgy, the children from preschool through second grade are called forth by the priest, given a blessing, and leave the church with their Catechists for approximately 20 minutes. Then during the offertory song, the children return and join their parents for the remainder of the Mass.
If your child is in preschool through first grade we invite you to encourage him/her to join us, just once. Our hope is that he/she will want to return each week.
Liturgy for Little Ones will resume in the fall when school starts up. Please read the bulletin for starting dates.
