SECULAR FRANCISCAN ORDER
The purpose of the St. Joseph Fraternity of Secular
Franciscan Order is to commit ourselves to live the Gospel according to
Franciscan spirituality in our secular condition; to seek to deepen, in the
light of faith, the values and choices of the evangelical life according to the
rule of the Secular Franciscan Order. Activities include: Monthly meeting
to pray and time to reflect on Franciscan spirituality, participating
individually in one or all of the six commissions (Justice & Peace, Youth,
Ecology, Work, Family and Foundation), visiting and giving support to the sick
and shut-in members, encouraging spiritual readings by keeping a library.
Monthly meetings are held the 3rd Sunday of the month at 1:30 p.m. in the
Blessed Sacrament Chapel of St. Joseph Church. Please contact Catherine
Wahlmeier for more information at 625-2725.
