Food Pantry Donations

What to Donate

  • Food items  - anything, but needs to be non-perishable:

    • Cereal​

    • Pasta/Mac n' Cheese

    • Deserts/Snacks Foods

    • Meats

      • Canned meals like Chef Boyardee​

      • Canned Tuna

      • Peanut Butter

    • Soups

      • Canned Soups​

      • Ramen Noodles

    • Beans

      • Canned of Bagged

    • Fruit

      • Canned jellies, fruit, sauces ​

    • Canned Vegetables

  • Monetary Donations

  • Medium sized boxes that can be closed
     

What not to Donate

  • Expired items

  • Any Medications of pharmaceuticles

  • Broken items or items with broken seals

  • Partially used items 

Where to Donate

  • You can bring items to the old Kennedy School building, to doors 25 & 26, near the gym from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Place your items inside the wooden bins.

Monetary Items

  • Checks made payable to:
    St. Joseph Food Pantry, checks can be left at the Parish Service Center or mailed to the address at 210 West 13th, Hays, Ks.  67601.

Hosting a Food Collection

We would gladly accept items collected from a  food drive!  We only ask that they be non-perishable items.
