Cemetery Decorations

Flowers and decorations may be placed on “Special Days”, (Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, All Saints Day and All Souls Day) and any time between November 10 and January 15. Families should pick up flowers and decorations which are not in self-supporting containers built into the monument or monument base (not the concrete foundation) within one week after each “Special Day” unless the grass needs to be mowed sooner. All winter decorations should be picked up during the second week of January, to enable snow removal when necessary and spring cemetery preparations.
Praying for those who have died
St. Gertrude the Great - Prayer for Release of Souls from Purgatory
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
