The Pastoral Council forms with the pastor a leadership group of the parish that is broadly representative of parish membership.  Through the council the Catholic laity, along with those who share in the pastoral care of the parish in virtue of their office, give their help in fostering pastoral activity (Canon 536).  It is an energizing, coordinating, and unifying organism of parish life

The purpose of the St. Joseph Parish Finance Council is to provide guidance to the pastor and business manager on matters related to finances, building maintenance, capital improvements and financial planning for the parish. Activities include regularly reviewing income and expenses, develop the annual budget, monitor compliance, recommend capital improvements and funding

PURPOSE:

The parish activities commission has as its responsibilities the planning and coordinating volunteers to enable the parish to sponsor social gatherings for fellowship, to celebrate special events, to recognize distinguished service,  and to enhance the social life of this faith community.

The purpose of the Heartland Vocations Commission is to promote an awareness of the call to religious vocations through prayer, inspiration, networking, education, and guidance. Activities include letters and care packages to seminarians, public service announcements to promote vocations, and assist diocesan vocation directors with youth activities, including help with seminarian dinners, and
